Under Her Mantle - Prayer Team & Fasting Friday

• Join in prayer with our requests that are sent out 1-2 times each month via email/phone

• Commit to say a prayer of your choice at a time when you are able for the requests

• Invite those who are served through your church's Homebound Ministry to join Under Her Mantle

• Consider gathering a group to pray together for prayer requests each month

• Consider praying one of the prayers from our Prayer Resources page

Spiritual Bouquets are prayers or devotional acts that someone (the giver) has or will offer for someone else (the recipient). It can be given from an individual or group to an individual or group to express joy, sorrow or best wishes. A great resource for creating a Spiritual Bouquet can be found here.  

In response to the many attacks on human life & dignity in our society, please consider joining our Fasting Friday efforts.  

Jesus reminds us…
“This kind can only come out through prayer and fasting” (Mk. 9:29).  

If you are inclined, please join me in an ongoing ministry of the sacrifice of fasting of your personal choice every Friday.  Know you will be doing this in solidarity with others, offering the sacrifice for the grave affronts to human life & dignity in our society.  Please feel free to email the Respect Life Office if you want to be officially enrolled in ministry - although it is not necessary.

The Respect Life Office now has prayer cards with Prayer for All Life available

Please invite the sick & homebound of your parish to join your Respect Life group...share a prayer card, ask them to pray for the Respect Life work you will be doing.
